Here are some of my projects...

Blunt Force Trauma Simulator

To tackle the worrying rise in domestic violence during COVID-19, my group created a tool that could truly help. Our project led to a durable, high-tech model thigh, showing the real impact of violence. With software to measure how hard the hits are, we're aiming to educate and prevent future violence, driven by a deep commitment to change.

DOE-Driven Optimization of ABS FDM Warpage

Warpage is a common failure in ABS 3D printing and is often addressed through trial and error. In this project, our team applied a structured design of experiments to systematically study how key printing parameters influence deformation. By combining controlled printing, non-contact 3D scanning, and statistical modeling, we identified the dominant factors and interactions driving warpage and optimized print settings to significantly reduce it, making the process more predictable and reliable.

Fiberglass Long Board

I have always loved to longboard and try out different board configurations to see how they perform.  My friends and I came up with a design that incorporated fiberglass into the layers for greater strength and flexibility. With each new board prototype, we learn new construction techniques to improve the overall design.

B.A.R.K Ben's Autonomous Robotic K-9

I designed a robot dog with the goal of performing tasks such as object tracking, area scanning, and more. I plan to equip it with swappable sensors that can be added or combined to suit various needs. I oversaw its design, assembly, and testing, and collaborated with my brother to develop a neural network that trains the robot to walk efficiently. Our vision is for the robot to operate both autonomously and via a controller.

ACCURATE, AUDITORY-BASED BLOOD PRESSURE MONITOR

Our project aims to revolutionize home healthcare by introducing an innovative blood pressure monitor, distinct from others on the market. Focusing on the growing need for accurate, easy-to-use health monitoring devices, we created this monitor to offer clinical-grade accuracy, a feature often lacking in existing at home devices. The blend of advanced technology and user-friendly design makes it unique, enabling individuals to effectively manage their health and aiding in the early detection and treatment of hypertension-related issues.

MR-1 CNC Build

I am building the Langmuir Systems MR-1 CNC, a machine designed for metalworking. With the capability to handle higher-strength materials, this CNC will enable the creation of intricate and durable metal parts for more complex projects. By combining precision engineering and advanced machining, this build opens the door to a wide range of possibilities, from functional components to innovative prototypes, bringing professional-grade manufacturing capabilities to the workshop.

Robotic Hand

The robotic hand had been created by my brother and I in our basement. We had a goal in mind, to build a robot to copy our finger movements. It was a very satisfying project since it incorporated many engineering disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, and software design.

Mass Production Of Rc car wheels

As part of MIT’s Advanced Manufacturing and Design program, I worked on a team to design and mass-manufacture an RC car under real production constraints. My team focused on wheel and tire design and manufacturing, developing custom tooling, fixtures, and processes to produce 160 consistent, high-performance wheels using traditional machining, waterjetting, and casting methods. The project emphasized scalability, design for manufacturing, and repeatability, closely mirroring the challenges of real-world production.

ECM Machine

I designed and built a low-cost electrochemical machining (ECM) system that makes an advanced manufacturing process accessible to students and makers. Originally a personal project, it grew into a teaching tool now integrated into my professor’s curriculum. It combines 3D-printed construction, simple electronics, and thoughtful design to demonstrate hands-on learning.

Motorized Drift Trike

I have always loved vehicles of all sorts, and ever since I was a kid, I have always wanted a go-kart, but they were always just too expensive. Now that I’m older, I decided that instead of buying one, I was going to build one. This project required me to go to welding school and pick up new skills.
